Why should I subscribe to Freightmail?

Answer:
To receive instant notification of available loads or trucks by email. Freightmail is also a great help in finding new contacts and leads. Most loads are posted by brokers, although we have a few shippers that post too.

Question:
Does Freightmail get involved in any booking, brokering, or payments?

Answer:
No. Freightmail.com is a load matching service, offering information only, and does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any loads listed. All loads are booked at the carriers' risk. We strongly suggest having credit checks done on all new companies you deal with.

Question:
How many loads can I expect to receive?

Answer:
That depends on the filters you set up. If you choose to receive "all loads and trucks", you can receive over 40,000 loads a day. Lists come in approximately every 10 minutes and can contain over 200 new loads. Setting up filters will dramatically reduce the load volume you receive, as well as give you only the targeted results you desire.

Question:
I don’t want my general mailbox filling up with messages when I don’t need them. How can I avoid this?

Answer:
The Freightmail service can be turned on or off as required, from the members login area of the site, in addition to setting up filters. If you do need to receive a large volume of load lists, keep the "ALL" loads and / or trucks setting. You can then set up a free email address at Gmail and subscribing to Freightmail with the new address or change your existing account to have the new address. To set up your Gmail account, please email us and we will set you up with a free Gmail account with over 2 Gigabytes of storage space.

Question:
Freightmail messages appear as scrambled jargon. How do I fix this?

Answer:
The Freightmail service is available in HTML format only. Most email client programs and online email system are set to allow emails with pictures (HTML). If yours is set to text only, you must change the settings to allow HTML. In Outlook, go to Tools / Options / Mail format and make sute HTML is selected.

Question:
Can I receive loads with specific filtered criteria only (i.e. flatbed only, loads originating in TX, etc.)?

Answer:
Freightmail.com has been upgraded to allow filtering options available for Full/partial or any loads, equipment types, origin and destination states, or a combination of multiple filters. As you apply more filters, you will receive fewer but more targeted results in your load lists. Filters can bet set or changed any time by logging in to the members area.

Question:
I would like to cancel my subscription. Can I simply turn Freightmail off?

Answer:
No. You must use the Freightmail cancellation form available in the members login area of our site. If you don’t cancel your service, our system will automatically bill your credit card when your subscription expires.

Question:
I signed up and received payment confirmation by email, but I don’t seem to be receiving any loads or trucks.

Answer:
Once a subscription is paid, we validate the account manually, which can take up to 24 hours. At this point, you will receive a confirmation by email letting you know that the account has been activated. If you still don’t receive any loads or trucks, make sure any spam/junk mail filters are turned off, as some ISP’s consider Freightmail messages as “spam”, due to the fact that it mails hundreds of messages per minute. If you aren’t sure or cannot control your ISP’s filtering system, we strongly suggest setting up a free Yahoo! Email address to be used for Freightmail messages.
